Josie Dawson-Whisker

Josie Dawson-Whisker is a young artist from Vancouver Island currently in her 5th

year of studies at SFU. Through the Visual Art program she has increased her

passion for collage and has illuminated an environmental approach that is typically

expressed in her work. As Josie takes inspiration from the world around her, a lot of

her free time is spent exploring the outdoors, either hiking, lounging at the beach,

camping, snowboarding or jumping into any body of water that she can find. In

addition to her deep connection with nature, her relationships with friends and

family are just as important. By creating personalized artworks for her loved ones, Josie brings joy to them as well as herself.

Shelby Lu is a Vancouver-based artist currently studying in Visual Arts at Simon Fraser University. Shelby works with sculpture-based works but also incorporates other mediums into her work.
